Sophie joined La Boussole as a food distribution volunteer in late 2018. She then joined the Board of Directors as secretary and later became vice president. She is now the acting president.
Prior to her arrival in Vancouver three years ago, Sophie lived in Italy and Australia. She is originally from France, where she was a human resources manager in the hotel industry. Today, she is furthering her career in HR and is very involved in diversity, equity and inclusion. She brings her expertise to La Boussole remotely since she moved to Montreal in August 2021.
