For the past year, La Boussole has been offering a solidarity thrift shop to its members. Run entirely by our volunteers, this project has allowed us to recycle over half a ton of clothing donated by the community.
Encouraged by the initiative’s success, the team wanted to take it step further by acquiring equipment to give donations a second life, offering a higher quality selection to our members, and putting some of our own creations up for sale.
Thanks to the financial support of the SEDBC through the "Fonds de développement économique francophone de l'Ouest - FDÉFO" program, the thrift store will become a social enterprise. There are exciting new steps to come, so stay tuned!
