Helene Rasmussen grew up in the Vancouver area. At 22, she travelled to Quebec, where she fell in love with the French language. She works for an alliance of organizations that provide support programs for newcomers facing multiple barriers.
From 2013 to 2019, Helene was a board member at La Boussole. She enjoys meeting people from different cultures, dancing, reading and learning languages (Spanish at the moment).
