The beginning of April marks the end of the 2022-2023 tax season and the beginning of a new financial year with, we hope, new projects. In any case, you can count on us to have plenty in mind at La Boussole!
Speaking of projects, I would like to highlight the initiative “Connecte” by Mia, a student at André-Piolat school, which aims to distribute meals to homeless persons and to make a report on food insecurity. We present to you this project which we support alongside the Conseil Jeunesse Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique in the next section.
This month is also Earth Month and the community centre offers you activities related to this theme: a session sharing vegetarian recipes, creation of household and cosmetic items with natural products, garbage collection on our monthly walking club…
And always: our sewing workshops with Ensemble, our theatre classes (join the troupe!) and improvisation, etc. Find all the details in our calendar.
